The Youth & AI Policy Lab – Case Study Challenge is a pre-event to the AI Impact Summit 2026, aimed at engaging young leaders in developing practical, ethical, and innovative AI policy solutions. Participants will receive real case studies from BRICS+ nations across sectors such as education, healthcare, food technology, surveillance ethics, and the legal system. Each participant/team must select one case, analyse it, and submit a structured policy response. Shortlisted entries will be reviewed by a distinguished jury, and the best solutions will be showcased at the final ceremony in New Delhi and published in the Youth & AI Policy Casebook 2026.

BRICS CCI in News

The appointment of Harvansh Chawla as Chairman of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) is a noteworthy development that highlights India's increasing influence in international trade blocs. With a robust background in international trade law and a sharp focus on fostering inclusive growth, Chawla brings a bold vision to the table—one that emphasizes deeper economic integration, innovation-led development, and strategic business partnerships across the BRICS and BRICS Plus nations.

The BRICS alliance (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) and the newly expanded BRICS Plus nations – Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, UAE, Indonesia – stands as a formidable voice for the Global South, representing 31.5% of global GDP and over 40% of the world’s population.

India’s pivotal role in this coalition is not merely economic but a testament to its vision for a multipolar world order rooted in equity, sovereignty and mutual prosperity.
